As an accomplished General Counsel, Risk Analyst, and Contract Manager, Abamba brings a wealth of over 15 years expertise, deploying transactional lawyering expertise in solving complex business problems. He is highly skilled in resolving ethics and risk concerns, while drafting and negotiating complex contracts to achieve strategic business objectives. His extensive experience spans roles in leading law firms, companies, and financial institutions, where he excelled in stakeholder management, legal project management, and compliance.
Prior to joining our Law Firm, he worked at two of Canada’s best Bay Street Firms: first, as a Contract Specialist and Consultant at the RBC Royal Bank, and secondly, as an Ethics and Risk Analyst at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
He also worked at a (real estate, mental health, family law, and immigration) boutique law office at North York, Toronto shortly after completing his second Master of Laws Degree at the prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School. Previously, he was General Counsel at a few global firms including Miniso, GAC Motors, BBT, and ATA following his early formative years as a litigation Associate Attorney at Castle of Law.
His expertise in legal compliance, ethics and risk undoubtedly aligns with most business objectives. With a proven ability to influence and collaborate with executives, vendors, and business partners, he is skilled in implementing methodologies that streamline processes to improve outcomes. With his excellent written and verbal skills, he is adept at presenting complex legal concepts clearly.

His academic journey also includes a Legum Baccalaureus (BL) from the Nigerian Law School, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Delta State University.
